  I was intrigued with belly dancing as a teenager and took a few classes and a private class between ages 16 and 19. I was re-introduced to belly dancing 8 years ago with my mom.
   
  Now the members of Egyptian Cartouche are my best friends and confidants and I love getting together with them, as dancing is one of my favorite activities and playing with costumes is just so much fun.
